The American German Business Club Kaiserslautern serves the German American community in one of the most vibrant cultural area in Rheinland-Pfalz. Our organization serves as a meeting place for Germans and Americans to gather to network, discuss current events, exchange valid information and talk about business matters. The Kaiserslautern chapter has been founded more than 20 years ago and is committed to encourage all size businesses and cultural interested people. You are invited to join us at any of our gatherings – whether you are in business or not, needing information on staying in Germany or looking to connect to an international group of people.

We had a successful season 2015 - 2016 with the welcome addition of the new K’inLautern shopping mall in downtown Kaiserslautern, and the new IKEA. Our chapter held tours at both businesses and we look forward to continuing our relationship with our newest community members.

In addition to the many engaging events we held in 2015 - 2016, we were honored to host a national meeting of the American German Business Club at one of our most valued members premises, the Barbarassahof Hotel Restaurant in Kaiserslautern-Eselsfürth in November 2015. As always, Alexander Flockerzie and his team made everyone feel welcome and our guests from the national chapters were well taken care of.

Beginning of 2016 we enjoyed our first Business Expo at the Burgschänke Hotel in Kaiserslautern-Hohenecken, which was a rousing success with a day of networking, informational presentations and good food. Please join us at our next Business Expo!

In May 2016 our annual Charity Golf Tournament on Ramstein Air Base had been the biggest event so far with over 100 attendees from all over Europe. As always, the proceeds went to our scholarship fund – as do the proceeds from all of our events. Both years we awarded 5 scholarships to young men and women attending university and studying business. 

For the upcoming 2017 - 2018 season we are excited to offer new and engaging programs. We are trying to keep our calendar updated for the months ahead so you may save the dates! Please join us at our events published below (subject to change so please feel free to always check with us by email). We very much appreciate our long standing members and welcome new members at any time during the season.

Last but not least: The club thrives due to a few individual members volunteering their time, ideas and energy to help plan events which all club members enjoy. The Board of Directors are the strength of our chapter and we are very grateful to every single member attending our BOD meetings regularly and for every little help we get - our sponsors of gifts for our annual Golf Charity Tournament, the judges of our scholarship essays, the volunteers at our bigger events - we THANK YOU! If you are interested in volunteering to serve on the board, or support specific committees and events, please be in touch. Every little contribution adds to the big picture and we appreciate it all.
