About the AGBC Chapter Bonn

AGBC-Bonn was established in 1964 to serve the Cologne-Bonn Region  and is the oldest chapter within the AGBC Association.

Members of the AGBC Bonn include the following companies: American Institute for Foreign Study GmbH, The Bonn International School, Raytheon International, Inc., Sprint Nextel Corp., TIMA GmbH as well as business executives, government officials, consular corps, entrepreneurs, consultants and lawyers just to name a few.

The Club combines an international flair with the "Gemütlichkeit" of the Rhineland. The atmosphere at our meetings is of a relaxed collegial nature characterized by openness and opportunities to exchange ideas of mutual interest and mutual benefit. The Club is especially open to women of all professions, and the AGBC Bonn can boast that it was the first chapter to have a female Vice President.

The Cologne-Bonn Region is a growing center for international business and commerce to include telecommunications (TELEKOM, T-Mobile, T-Online etc.), IT (Microsoft), logistics (Deutsche Post, DHL, UPS, and FEDEX), science (Center for Advanced European Studies and Research), and United Nations agencies.

Come and join us for our next monthly event and experience the hospitality and warmth of the Rhine region.

The monthly  meetings are useful for furthering business contacts with personal "networking" as a dominant feature. These meetings are conducted in English and/or German and are usually scheduled for the third Wednesday/Thursday of the month. Topics of the guest speakers represent a wide background of professions and are both informative and interesting.
Speakers and topics are published in the AGBC.de website under the Bonn Chapter.

Anyone wishing to attend meetings is requested to make reservations via our website or with the AGBC Bonn Office and/or the central admin office (Tel. 02225-7034991, Fax 02225-7034999, Email:  bonn@agbc.de), at least 4 days before the event.

Evening events emphasizing personal contact and offering presentations, discussions and exchange of ideas on a topics of current interest from the business, scientific, technological, telecommunications, and political communities are usually held at a central location in Bonn.  Refer to "Coming Events" on our website for exact details.

Luncheons, a monthly "Stammtisch", and special events also take place at local "Brauhäuser" and/or traditional restaurants.

AGBC Bonn works also in partnership with a number of international organizations to include the Deutsche Atlantische Gesellschaft (DAG), the Mid-Atlantic Club (MAC), as well as the Amerika Haus e.V. NRW.
